سُورَةُ التَّكۡوِيرِ

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ إِذَا ٱلشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ

বাংলাযখন সূর্য আলোহীন হয়ে যাবে,

EnglishWhen the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتْ

বাংলাযখন নক্ষত্র মলিন হয়ে যাবে,

EnglishAnd when the stars fall, dispersing,

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ

বাংলাযখন পর্বতমালা অপসারিত হবে,

EnglishAnd when the mountains are removed

وَإِذَا ٱلْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ

বাংলাযখন দশ মাসের গর্ভবতী উষ্ট্রীসমূহ উপেক্ষিত হবে;

EnglishAnd when full-term she-camels are neglected

وَإِذَا ٱلْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ

বাংলাযখন বন্য পশুরা একত্রিত হয়ে যাবে,

EnglishAnd when the wild beasts are gathered

وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ

বাংলাযখন সমুদ্রকে উত্তাল করে তোলা হবে,

EnglishAnd when the seas are filled with flame

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ

বাংলাযখন আত্মাসমূহকে যুগল করা হবে,

EnglishAnd when the souls are paired

وَإِذَا ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتْ

বাংলাযখন জীবন্ত প্রোথিত কন্যাকে জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে,

EnglishAnd when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍۢ قُتِلَتْ

বাংলাকি অপরাধে তাকে হত্য করা হল?

EnglishFor what sin she was killed

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ

বাংলাযখন আমলনামা খোলা হবে,

EnglishAnd when the pages are made public

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتْ

বাংলাযখন আকাশের আবরণ অপসারিত হবে,

EnglishAnd when the sky is stripped away

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ

বাংলাযখন জাহান্নামের অগ্নি প্রজ্বলিত করা হবে

EnglishAnd when Hellfire is set ablaze

وَإِذَا ٱلْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ

বাংলাএবং যখন জান্নাত সন্নিকটবর্তী হবে,

EnglishAnd when Paradise is brought near,

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّآ أَحْضَرَتْ

বাংলাতখন প্রত্যেকেই জেনে নিবে সে কি উপস্থিত করেছে।

EnglishA soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it].

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلْخُنَّسِ

বাংলাআমি শপথ করি যেসব নক্ষত্রগুলো পশ্চাতে সরে যায়।

EnglishSo I swear by the retreating stars -

ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْكُنَّسِ

বাংলাচলমান হয় ও অদৃশ্য হয়,

EnglishThose that run [their courses] and disappear -

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ

বাংলাশপথ নিশাবসান ও

EnglishAnd by the night as it closes in

وَٱلصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

বাংলাপ্রভাত আগমন কালের,

EnglishAnd by the dawn when it breathes

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ

বাংলানিশ্চয় কোরআন সম্মানিত রসূলের আনীত বাণী,

English[That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍۢ

বাংলাযিনি শক্তিশালী, আরশের মালিকের নিকট মর্যাদাশালী,

English[Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position],

مُّطَاعٍۢ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍۢ

বাংলাসবার মান্যবর, সেখানকার বিশ্বাসভাজন।

EnglishObeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy.

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍۢ

বাংলাএবং তোমাদের সাথী পাগল নন।

EnglishAnd your companion is not [at all] mad.

وَلَقَدْ رَءَاهُ بِٱلْأُفُقِ ٱلْمُبِينِ

বাংলাতিনি সেই ফেরেশতাকে প্রকাশ্য দিগন্তে দেখেছেন।

EnglishAnd he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon.

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍۢ

বাংলাতিনি অদৃশ্য বিষয় বলতে কৃপনতা করেন না।

EnglishAnd Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen.

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَٰنٍۢ رَّجِيمٍۢ

বাংলাএটা বিতাড়িত শয়তানের উক্তি নয়।

EnglishAnd the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens].

فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ

বাংলাঅতএব, তোমরা কোথায় যাচ্ছ?

EnglishSo where are you going?

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ

বাংলাএটা তো কেবল বিশ্বাবাসীদের জন্যে উপদেশ,

EnglishIt is not except a reminder to the worlds

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ

বাংলাতার জন্যে, যে তোমাদের মধ্যে সোজা চলতে চায়।

EnglishFor whoever wills among you to take a right course.

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ

বাংলাতোমরা আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামীনের অভিপ্রায়ের বাইরে অন্য কিছুই ইচ্ছা করতে পার না।

EnglishAnd you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds.
